William and May Tope had two children:

57. Zeila Klone5 Tope (Melville Freeman4, Levi3, George2, John1) was bom 13 April 1899 in Wren, Van Wert County, Ohio,33 and died 15 July 1963 in Rockford, Mercer County, Ohio of Congestive Heart Failure.34 She married Homer Clyde Ainsworth, son of Henry R. Ainsworth and Ettie Idora Sheets, in Van Wert, Van Wert County on 13 April 1916.35 He was bom 22 June 1892 in Ohio and was a brother of Gertie Floretta Ainsworth, who married Ray Forest Tope (see Chapter 9).
Clyde, as he was known, died 16 October 1943, in Adams County, Indiana on the way to a hospital after an auto accident 12 miles west of Van Wert on U.S. Highway No. 224 in which his skull, arms, legs and neck were fractured.36 He was buried on 19 October 1943 in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert, Van Wert County, Ohio.37
After divorcing Clyde on 9 July 1928,38 Zeila married Clarence G. Fegley, son of Charles Fegley, in September 1931. Clarence, known as "Slim", was bom 10 November 1900 in Ohio39 and died 28 September 1971 in the Van Wert Manor Nursing Home, Van Wert County, Ohio, where he had been a patient for six months.40 Zeila was buried on 18 July 1963 in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford, Mercer County, Ohio, and Clarence was interred in the same cemetery on 1 October 1971.
Zeila and Clarence were members of the Methodist Church in Rockford, Mercer County, Ohio. They operated Fegley's Cafe & Fegley's Meat Locker Service between 1932 and 1950 in Rockford, Mercer County, Ohio.41
Zeila and Clarence Fegley had one child:
