Indiana and died 15 April 1917. The cause of her death was stomach cancer. She was buried on 18 April 1917 in Tipton, Tipton County, Indiana.
Nineteen years later, Roy married Helen Rebecca Richardson on 3 July 1936. She was bom 19 December 1901 in Raleigh, Rush County, Indiana, and died 11 February 1981 in a nursing home in Ft. Wayne, Alien County, Indiana.
There is some confusion over the spelling of the Alverda's surname. The family Bible normally spelled the family name as Beiler, but several entries spelled it as Beeler.

Roy worked as a salesman for Fairbanks in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, in 1918. Then, moving to Connersville, Indiana, he became a partner in Daum Dairy. The partnership was dissolved in a legal action.
He entered the refrigeration business in Connersville, Fayette County, Indiana, and received a Hamilton watch as the Frigidaire Sales Leader in 1933. He also received a sales leader ring in 1934. When his son lost his wedding ring, Roy removed the set from the ring for it to be used in the making of a new ring.
At the beginning of World War II, the business was moved to Glenwood, Indiana, where Roy remained fully active, delivering LPG, in same, as well as in rental properties, until he was 75 years of age in 1969, and remained fairly active into his early 80s.

Ray Forest5 Tope (William Vance4, Levi3, George2, John1) was born on 20 March 1894,18 and died 21 July 1919 after an illness of several weeks from the effects of Chronic Nephritis at the home of his father-in-law. Henry Ainsworth, in Harrison Township, Van Wert County, Ohio.19 Ray's funeral was held on 24 July 1919 at the United Brethren Church in Wren, Van Wert County, Ohio, followed by burial in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert County, Ohio.20
He married Gertie Floretta Ainsworth on 3 March 1915 in Van Wert, Van Wert County, Ohio.21 She was born 19 January 1896 to Henry R. Ainsworth
